This is one of my favorite beers of all time. It was as staple for me when I was in Germany. It was the beer that turned me on to Helles.
Appearance- A brighter shade of straw yellow a little bit of bubbles after the beer settle. There is a very nice head and leaves a beautiful lace.
Smell- Grassy hops aroma very pasture like and evenly balanced with malt.
Taste- This beer has a nice hop flavor but definitely not too bitter the malts are not the primary taste but blend well with the other flavors..
Mouthfeel- Full bodied for a Helles.
Drinkability- A very refreshing and crisp. An all around good year round beer.

A 4.9% abv beer in a 0.5L brown capped bottle with a white and blue label. Bright clear sun colored beer with a bit of bubbles. Small dense white head left a strand of lace. Ripe aroma of sharp pungent earthy hops. Lightly sweet malt flavor, or possibly wheat, is balanced by the herbal hops. I really like this hop, but I'm not sure what it is. It reminds me a bit of the Herbrucker (sp?) Hallertau from the Sam Adams double pils. Mouthfeel is full and crisp. The flavor is simple, but addictive. I'm going to buy a handful more and see how I feel after a few weeks. Highly recommended.
