Copenhagen 2/4 2024. 37,5 cll waxed bottle from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Black and off-white no nonsense label with the name of beer, breweries and style of the beer.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small off-white head. Disappears after a few seconds leaving what looks like a glass of decarbonated Cola behind. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a swat malty odor mingling with a distinct earthy scent. More than a hint of alcohol. Sweet dark malts. Roasted - hard, almost burned. Leather and tobacco.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, a bit sticky, viscous flat, texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry with a light boozy burn.
Soft, pleasant and earthy.
