Half Bushel Brewery

Narrow storefront on the main street of town, with an adjoining events room up a couple of steps. Short bar where orders are placed, and surrounding tables. Uncovered patio outside. Brewing equipment in plain view. About six beer selections, all brewed on-site. Friendly staff, and a local crowd.

I've been there a couple of times now. The first is their grand opening, and the most recent was a bit over a week ago.

This is in downtown Litchfield, in an old building. At one time it was a hardware store. It has old pictures of downtown, and the hardware store in the seating area. Decent sized bar top, which is where I sat on my last visit. There's an additional seating area that is separate from the main area.

The staff was very friendly both visits. The place only recently opened, but the quality is quite good. I think they had 8 beers on tap when I was last there, and I enjoyed 4 of them in a flight.

I will be going back there again. It's fairly close to me.
