From a 750ml bottle.

Nice smoke upon opening the bottle. The wax was easy and safe to remove. This beer has a nice amber color to it. There's a great stream of carbonation bubbles rising in the glass. The head is a 2 finger frothy off white colored head that has great retention and some lacing on the glass.
The nose is very disappointing. There's nothing there at all. I am getting just the most faint hint of maple and nothing else. I only drop below 3 if the nose is off putting, but I have to go lower because I am disappointed with it so much.
Taste - Wow, I hate to say it, but the flavor takes after the nose - there's almost nothing there. I am getting some maple. There's a super faint hint of caramel malt.
The body is quite bubbly feeling. The beer does go down smooth. Decent full body to the beer.
Well, this is the one I wasn't sure I wanted to get, and I wish I would have left it on the counter. This is a disappointing beer on the key levels.
