Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 3/19/25.
Appearance: pale golden hue with a moderate haze and a thick head of frothy ivory foam.
Smell: moderately sweet malt with a somewhat piney, lemony hop character. Not too bad.
Taste: kind of a soft malt character with a moderate sweetness and a citrusy flavor; a bit lemony, like the aroma, but also a little bit grapefruity. Kit’s got kind of a zest to it, though it’s not super complex.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a decent enough IPA. I didn’t realize when I bought it that this can is almost a year old. But it seems to have held up somewhat — it’s certainly not gross or anything.
