On tap at the brewery.
Dark brown color typical for the style, but the head retention is above average for the style and a 10% beer.
Aroma is big butterscotch, oak, and complex malts. Theres a bit of char and molasses as it warms.
Molasses, charred oak, complex malts, some well integrated whiskey heat.
Soft, slick, medium body.
This is a beautiful barrel aged barleywine.
