Gift can from BIL. Poured into glass with very nice head to begin. The name is so evocative. Solid rendition of a Czech dark lager.

On tap at the brewery.
Very dark for what I’ve seen of the stule, we’re talking only thumbnails of light even in a small sample snifter.
Crisp but rich aroma with lots of cocoa, like Oreos.
Light, rich, chocolatey, but not crisp based on lack of carbonation and very low hopping. It pulls off a light richness.
Light body with light carbonation. It lacks bite, which I think should be present for the style.
This is a slightly different Dark Czech Lager and very good. It’s richer, yet just as light, though not in the same way as most.
