Bagtown Brewing Company was started by an entrepreneurship class at Mount Allison University, in Sackville, NB. It is now run by one of the original class members and features a taproom where you can enjoy many different offerings.

Visited this brewery while staying at Mount Allison University, literally across the street.
the brewery is located on a main drag in Sackville/ Tantramar and has good signage in front of the building. Door on one side opens and there is some patio seeding on some astroturf type grass around the perimeter of the building. Picnic table style seating outside.
Walking in there is a U shaped bar with stools in the center of the room. A few small alcoves on the outer wall with bench seating. Fairly eclectic mix of seating and table setups around the room. Some schwag in one corner, Sweatshirts, hats etc. Local art is on the walls and some old windows make up a display on a wall. There are 10 drafts on line and a cooler of cans and bottles, but these are for off premise consumption only. these cans are also not all from Bagtown, pretty cool support for other local breweries!
Beers range from some ciders, to a witbier, a golden ale, pale, irish red, session IPA and a stout. Bartender is friendly and is knowledgeable about the beers. Flights are available along with draft pours. no food menu, although the wall mentions this is coming soon. I had several pours of the tropical stout. Its a solid stout, but unsure of the "tropical" component. Bartender , a different one, says its mango. I dont really get that in flavor or nose.
Overall, this is a chill spot with pretty cool feel, I can imagine that when school is in session it could get a little crowded with students. Im glad to have checked this place out and would certainly visit again if I am ever in Tantramar again.
