Enjoy fantastic hand crafted beers in an unexpected, relaxed, hideout just outside of Abilene in the Potosi area. Family owned and operated, our goal is to bring back the neighborhood "public house," where everyone is welcome to congregate, be social, and share their views. We have a comfortable taproom or brew pub, as well as seating in the brewery and a beer garden. As for the brewing, we keep it simple: In the morning Sam rolls out of bed and brews the beer, and Thursday through Sunday we share that beer with our friends and neighbors. Our process is modeled after European farmhouse brewers of old who proved for centuries that it is not complicated to brew great beer. We brew according to the season, and make both traditional and "modern" styles that everyone can enjoy. Ask for a tour or our brewhouse, you will be surprised--we do things a little differently around here.
