Split a pint with Da Boss while dining at the brewpub on 9-27-25 for $8.00.
Beer was served deep amber with a nice white head.
Nose was sweet crystal malts and citrusy hops.
Taste was a sweet malt base that was hopped up with some citrus and tropical hops. Finished style appropriate sweet.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and pretty smooth.
Overall the tropical hop approach does not fit the style for me as American reds typical use Cascade hopping for the traditional grapefruit bitterness.
