A rich, straw coloured quality premium ale with a robust malty palate and a well balanced steely bitterness.

L- Mid golden, clear, pours with 3mm snow-white head, holds well and forms lacing down the sides.
S- Smells quite bright, piquant.
T- It has a good mix between malts and a dry hop edge, both clearly present yet nicely balanced.
F- It feels very trad, there is nothing newfangled sticking awkwardly out from the whole. Carbonation in the mouth is also very good.
O- This is eminently sessionable esp for those who prefer a *slightly* hoppier trad ale. 500ml bottle BBE: Jan-2022.
The Description above currently lists this as a 'Bitter - English Extra Special / Strong Bitter (ESB)'. The bottle states it is a 'Premium Pale Ale' ... I'll send in a change request.
