With a light body, pleasant bitterness, and signature wet hop impact, Simcoe Fresh Hop is an easy drinking pilsner with nuanced hop expressions. Fresh Simcoe hops, from Cornerstone Ranches in Toppenish, WA to the Larrabee brewhouse in just hours, provide complex layers of bright pine resin, strawberry jam, ripe pineapple and a signature earthy citrus pith.

I had this beer on-tap in a becher glass at Vulpine Taproom in Lake Forest Park.
Appearance: medium golden hue with maybe a dash of haze and a finger of creamy ivory foam.
Smell: lightly toasty malt with an earthy hop character that has a good, like, richness. I'm into it.
Taste: toasty malt with a nice yeastiness and a kind of earthy, musty, dank hoppiness. This feels like a true fresh hop beer — there's a wet hop character that is appropriately autumnal here. Solid.
Mouthfeel: medium light body with a big carbonation and a fluffy creaminess. Not bad at all.
Overall: a pretty solid fresh hop lager. I don't think this would normally be a go-to for me, but during fresh hop, I feel like this meets the spirit of the season.
