A modern take on a classic English Golden Ale, Gold Star employs English pale malt and a touch of wheat, along with generous Riwaka hopping, for a drinkable, balanced brew. Hop-driven notes of passionfruit, lemon peel, and grapefruit drive the flavor profile, with a clean malt underpinning and dry finish. Brewed in collaboration with Moor Beer Company (Bristol, England) as an homage to their classic So’Hop real ale offering.

On cask at Brewery Saint X. Poured a slightly cloudy, golden yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It left sheets of lace. Sweet caramel notes with bready notes. Nice smooth caramel and toffee taste with a hint of citrus.
