Brewed a blend of Bavarian-grown barley malt and malt smoked over white oak and pecan wood at our very own Devil Moon Barbecue. Gently hopped with Bentele Farms Tettnanger (Tettnang, Baden-Württemberg, Germany), step-mashed, lagered for 6 weeks and naturally carbonated. Brewed in collaboration with Freigeist Bierkultur (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany).

16oz can. Poured out a murky, dark brown color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of smoked malt, caramel, toffee and bread. Strong smoky presence with caramel, toffee and coffee.
