Chestnut brown body with a disappointing half hearted head which I would expect double of with a good cask brew.
Aromas of malt with yeasty hints.
Rich and creamy tasting beer with malts that taper into a peppery finish hinting at sarsaparilla.
A good solid mouthfeel but the carbonation is that low that the beer comes across as flat which is a shame because it is an otherwise worthy brew.
