Clear Bronze pour, scant tan head that leaves quickly. Nose is roasted malt and mild dried fruit.
Taste brings touch toffee, hint caramel, hearty dark bread, medium kilned malt, raisins, light woody character. Mouthfeel is medium. Finish is malty with a dry floral zing. I thought this was going to be too sweet, but it balanced nicely.
