16 ounce can from brewery stand at farmers market in Devon.
Pours a clear dark mahogany with a solid finger and a half of dense deep tan head.
Nose is malty - somewhat roasty, nutty with caramel and cocoa notes and a bit of earthiness.
Taste follows with a smooth caramel malt, some subtle dark fruit, nutty and chocolate flavours and again a soft roasty and earthy note. Subtle sweetness.
Smooth light medium mouthfeel - simple and deliciously drinkable.
