Pours a light amber-brown with a medium head that leaves a good film and some lacing. Nose is earthy, dusty, slight malt. Flavor is malty, fruity, and firmly bitter...actually a little astringent. Overall, a good beer but honestly not very interesting or tasty.

A: Two fingers of a slightly off-white head with an aggressive pour. The head recedes to a film that leaves very nice lacing. Body is a nice medium amber.
S: Toast, sweet malt with herbal and floral notes. Slightly medicinal. No hint of alcohol.
T: Malty and herbal. Sweet. A bit astringent. The brewer refers to it as fruity, however I'm not seeing it.
MF: Probably the most refreshing strong ale I've ever tried. Its rather light with a noticeable carbonation.
O: Not my favorite from Old Chimneys, but its still passable.
