A bottle conditioned beer.
This beer cost me about $4. There was no trace of any sort of head, and the carbonation is non-existent. By the lack of any significant amount of sediment, I would guess that the secondary fermentation failed.
The taste was watery, and did not have any distinctive flavour. I made better beer than this as a teenager with cheap home-brew kits.
For reference, this was Lot number 438b, best before 1st April 2004.
