Bought at a Sawa City grocery store in Kigali Rwanda. Poured into a mug.
The beer is a slight amber color, clear, with a nice frothy head with OK retention.
Smell is juicy with orange and grapefruit rind, tropical notes throughout, slight pine character. A little tart sweetness in the middle.
Taste is classic west coast IPA. Pine and citrus rind dominate. Caramel malt inside and a hint of mango.
Fantastic find in Rwanda. Refreshing and flavorful. Nice to see some varied offerings in this part of the world these days.
