Deep Draft Brewing

I stopped in at Deep Draft while tooling around the peninsula yesterday. They've got a small but very homey living-room-like taproom, with a large, welcoming, and rather rustic patio area that's just super neat. Everything about it reminds me of a vacation cabin somewhere; I really liked it! Service was friendly and prompt, as well.

When I was there, they had 11 beers on tap plus a house root-beer. The selection was heavily tilted toward German styles: maibock, dunkelbock, roggenbock, Munich helles, Munich dunkel, Vienna lager, Kölsch, Czech pilsner, wheat beer, and finally an IPA and black IPA. I had the Czech pilsner and the Munich dunkel and thought both were quite good; I'm definitely going to have to return to Deep Draft at some point and explore more of their offerings.

Nifty little brewery on the southern edge of town. Small L-shaped bar opposite the entrance seats about 6, with a few tables about the room and a good sized side yard with tables, interesting yard art, and an assortment of cast iron stoves (today we'd of been better off with water mister). 11 beers on tap. Friendly bartender.
