cheyenne beer scene still growing which is cool, these guys have an awesome spot, not far out of town, easy to get to, lots of parking. its the dead of winter obviously but it appears they have a splendid outside space to the side of the building, looks like live music and yard games galore when spring hits, but its tough to tell with a layer of snow on everything, suffice it to say their capacity is already big but will be huge when the outside is available, very neat layout. not sure what was in here before but the big space is well appointed and feels almost new, a real long bar running the entire length of the place, some cool swing chairs in the windows, brewing equipment back left from the entrance is visible, looks like some private gathering areas too, including upstairs, plenty of space in here wow, its huge. clean and nice too. they only had three or four of their own beers on when i was in, but offer a ton of guest taps, saving the selection score a little bit, but with all these lines its time to brew a bit more no? i had two beers in here, both were solidly mediocre and very homebrew-esque, not a compliment in this instance. a basic blonde ale and their ipa, both with major issues in fermentation and possible also with sanitation which seems especially problematic, seems like the brewery aspect is just one of the many focuses they have here, food, live music, full bar all in play, but i think it needs a little more attention, they werent bad but they werent good either. my service was excellent though, welcoming and friendly, and i can see a ton of potential for the spot. next time through i hope to see many more house beer selections, have the quality cleaned up significantly, and hope the weather to be good enough to enjoy their outdoor area. some kinks to work out yet but all the makings of a cool brewery hang.
