Brewed to be true to style, this Irish Dry Stout is made with Maris Otter-style malt, flaked barley, roasted barley and a touch of chocolate malt. UK Fuggle hops were used for both the bittering and aroma. The result is a black beer with a dark tan head and ruby highlights. The aroma is packed with notes of toasted marshmallow, marzipan, espresso, and dark cocoa, while the flavor is decidedly less sweet in character, offering up more of a dry, roasted, toasty flavor and a light-bodied finish.
