Handfasting is a ritual that is found throughout the world, which can be ceremonial or not, but is always related to a commitment to a union. Just as the original Oktoberfest was a wedding celebration, the annual brewing of Oktoberfest beer (or Märzen) starts months earlier, and is the brewers commitment to the party.
Our Märzen is brewed with the award-winning Munich, Vienna and Pilsner malts from Root Shoot, and then lightly hopped with Saaz and Grungeist. The beer delivers notes of baked pie crust, toasted crackers, and sweet honeysuckle.

I'm not a fan of fest beers, but this one is pretty good if I had to drink one. If it's truly a marten though, it should have les malt and more roast flavor.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
