The third beer in our Cocktail-Inspired Ales Series, M.P.G. is inspired by a mezcal paloma. We used oak-smoked wheat malt to acheive a gentle smoke quality, Roland Sea Salt to acheive that salty quality gose is known for, and Lachancea thermotolerans in the fermentation to get a sour, lactic acid bite. We also incorporated 10lbs of grapefruit zest and lime peel to bring out that grapefruit note in the aroma. The result is a refreshing, crushable summer beer that begs to be paired with food.

M.P.G pours a light pale color, with a small head. The aroma is sweeter, with grapefruit notes. The flavor is sweet, smoky/mezcal, and grapefruit notes. Good feel.
