Poured into a wide mouth, grip shaped goblet: color is amber, clear/transparent, head is light tan and presents one finger thick, head lingers with solid top and some spotty lacing on the glass sides.
Smell is toast, bread, biscuit, toffee, light chocolate, light herbal/grass hops.
Taste is more bread, toast, biscuit, toffee, light caramel, touch of chocolate, very light herbal and grass hop note.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, low bitterness but crisp finish.
Overall - an excellent doppelbock - strong malt flavor, smooth presence and finish.
