Sorry, but when it's a wheat beer they should say that immediately on the outside of the can. Some people love wheat beers. Many people hate wheat beers; and it would be nice to know before we bought it. Cream ales can be very nice; we had an excellent one at Empire Brewing in Syracuse a few years ago. But anyway, this one was a huge disappointment, with all the aftertaste of a wheat beer that is so unpleasant.

Pretty golden color with no head. Nose is a little grainy with floral hops but not overly strong. Flavor is more direct, with a big bread note and enough hops to balance it out. Texture is a plus as well, with a smooth texture and very lactose adjacent quality. Carbonation is low and aftertaste is surprisingly resinous. Very solid cream ale. This brewer continues to impress.
