Want to add some substance to your dear old friend, the lager? We took a classic Czech lager recipe and upgraded the malt to the dark, roasty, toasty pale chocolate and black patent varieties. The medium-bodied mouthfeel is paired with a sweet caramelized taste and that familiar Saaz spice to manufacture a heavy-duty, yet highly drinkable brew. This is the end-of-day, feet-up, indulge-yourself beer you’ve been searching for.

16 ounce can from brewery at local farmers market.
Reddish brown pour with a finger of tight bubbly khaki head.
Nose is roasty with coffee, chocolate, brown bread with some earthy and spicy hop notes.
Chocolate malt and roasty coffee on the palate with caramel sweetness and again the spicy hops with a gentle earthy bitterness.
Smooth and light bodied with moderate carbonation - exceptionally drinkable.
