(review from May 2024) Unbelievably well balanced imp stout w/good palate heft;as advertised but very light wafts of cinnamon/vanilla/almonds floating in a subtle,malty,slightly roasty/javaish,almost milk stout-kinda brew. Exceptionally smooth fooler of a 10.5%er that drinks like half that much. Very dangerously quaffable, indeed!

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light-brown head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of almond, cinnamon, chocolate and roasted malt. Great cinnamon taste with sweet almond, chocolate and toffee. Low bitterness.
