Brewed with fresh blackberry puree and cocoa nibs it's a sweet treat without being heavy.

Pint pour on draught at the brewery. It pours a dark mahogany with deep cola hues, and a half finger, creamy, medium-khaki cap and modest lacing. Its smell offers roasted malt with notes of chocolate and fresh coffee. As it warms I can smell the blackberry. The blackberry puree dominates the taste. Unfortunately, the cocoa nibs are barely noticeable until the Stout warms considerably. There is a nice, roasty char which balances the berry. Even for a session Stout, the feel is thin and watery. But it's very easy to drink at 4.5% ABV. Overall, I really like the concept of this Stout but I'd like to see more pronounced cocoa and a thicker mouth feel. I don't mean Russian Imperial Stout feel - but a little more viscosity.
