Can't read date but most likely 02/25, into a wide wine glass.
Pours a thick, hazy orange, great head retention. Completely opaque. Aroma is mango and overripe tropical fruit. Plenty of sweet orange as well, kind of smells like Aperol. Flavor is a lot more dank than the nose would indicate. The papaya and mango from the Nectaron/Motueka combo is evident, and there's a really excellent sweet, creamy note on the finish to contrast the quite bitter and vegetal front palate. The bitterness doesn't linger and the finish is quite sticky and sweet but in a mellow, enjoyable way. It's a little bit more aggressive than Permanent Record, the previous Marble Fox TIPA I reviewed, but still retaining their signature smooth, soft bitterness and bright vegetal character. Feel is lovely, nice and rich to complement the huge body. Booze not terribly evident but it comes in eventually.
Overall, Marble Fox does a stupid IPA and it's good. Not nearly as tropical as I was expecting, but still very tasty and goes down like a 7%. I cannot visit the brewery in person because they make these IPAs and I don't know anyone who would want to brave I-24 to DD me. It's a monster and another hit.
