Straw with a copper tinge, lots of fine bubbles, 3 fingers of sea foam head.

Hoppy like straw and pears and lemon zest. Some skunk.

Hoppy like the nose and light on the palate.

Thin body with lots of foamy carbonation.

Got and drank in Bangkok, found in Villa Market. Jan 8, 2015

Golden sunshine with white shaving cream head that fades to crust and sheets. Crackery lager grain nose with hints of grass and lemon zest.
Simple cream cracker malts hardly get a chance before big hoppy grapefruit pip, coriander seed and aspirin notes come in.
Lychee finish and gooesberry (no, there's no NS here) linger. Soft, crisp, light, creamy.

Boom! Instantly one of the hoppiest English ales I've tasted - I'm guessing it's the Willamette and Galena (in addition to the usual Fuggles and EKG) to thank for that. Mouthfeel does it favors, too, but UK brewers seem afraid to use a bit of Caramalt when they want to make a hoppy beer.

Equal parts refreshing and hard work.

Interested now to try the IPA by the same name.

Note: Very much not a bitter.

16th Aug 2012: hand-pulled pint in my local Wetherpoons.

Having had a bottle of this some years ago I was intrigued to see if the cask version was any better: it was.

Mid-golden body with a head of white bubbles that tried to stay the distance. The smell was semi-sour citrusy and mildly malty.

Taste wise it fell nicely into the regular citrusy hop fronted brew so often favoured in the UK at the moment: then the malts kicked in and it wasn’t so hoppy/citrusy any more. So a pleasant blend of flavours and almost interesting.

Straw coloured body with nice big bubbled bright white head.

Big hop aromas thrown up alongside grapefruit and a distinct smell of fruit salad chewy sweets XD

A nice blend of tastes quite deep and rich for simple bottled beer, there is citrus and a good measure of grapefruit without being overbearing, nice peppery yeast bitter tastes .

Nice light touch with the mouthfeel, great carbonation real tasty rewarding and enjoyable beer.

This beer pours a pale golden tawny colour with nice carbonation that leaves a two finger head with sporadic lacing here and there, the aroma is very fruity with nice floral hops on the nose and some light toffee malts in the background, the taste is quite refreshing really with nice floral, fruity hops first up which is nicely smoothed out in the middle with a nice malty backbone and the last taste you get out of this beer is a nice little bitter twist of hops right at the end but not overly bitter just right for my taste, and to be honest this is definately a nice session beer just right for sitting on the porch on those nice hot summer days, could drink alot of these.

Pours a light amber copper color, with a white head and nice lacing.

Smell is citrusy with some bread notes.

Taste like it smells has a spiciness with a nice dry finish.

Mouthfeel is good you get a fairly heavy carbonation bite.

Very nice beer I'll look for it again. Bought this at a bottle shop in Amsterdam.

Tasted by half-pint recently at my local JDW pub, the Half Moon, in East End London.

A: lightly hazy, dark honey-ish golden hue, coming with a thin and fluffy head sustaining for a while...
S: interesting blend of medicinal note and flowery+fruity aroma... on top of a lightly-sweet maltiness smelling rather like cane-sugar-- pretty rich..
T: phenolic and lightly peated maltiness at the back of the palate provides a quiet balance with the overall richly citrussy fruitiness upfront, turning dryer bit by bit and leading towards more pheolic malty overtone in the end, where a lightly dryish bitterness lingers freely~~
M&D: light-med. bodied, on top of a good malty backbone, yet the whole texture remains quite lively and light~~ Overall this is a dryish bitter, distinctive for its lightly spicy and phenolic edges.

Pale amber, thick head, decent lacing. This ale had a wonderful fruity aroma, thinnish mouthfeel but then it's a session beer. Long tart hoppy finish with hints of grapefruit. very clean tasting and drinkable. Another beer enjoyed at the Lord Moon Of The mall in London.

(Cask)Really nice. Bitter and hoppy, orangey citrusy flavours (citric, lightly aromatic hops), some tropical fruit (melon?), dry-ish finish, nice round balanced mouthfeel, a tasty pint, fresh and hoppy, very nice little brew. Cask at the Hobgoblin in Oxford, England...
