Chocolate & Vanilla Stout by Titanic Brewery
Bevis Maun is drinking a Chocolate & Vanilla Stout by Titanic Brewery at Black Horse Hotel

Hand pulled cask conditioned beer served at The Black Horse Preston at CAMRA regional to reveal a jet black body with thick tight tan head. Aroma is chocolate and vanilla. Flavour is vanilla and dark chocolate. Decent body.

500 ml clear bottle, probably from Voldby Købmandsgaard. ABV is 4.5%. BB date 03 2013. Some sediment in the bottle. Very dark brown colour, low beige head. Aroma of mild coffee, vanilla and chocolate. Light bodied and fairly refreshing. The flavour is not very sweet, again with notes of mild coffee, chocolate and vanilla. Some bittering hops (Northdown) in the finish.

Cask. Almost black with an extra thick and dense head.
Mainly smells of the vanilla with the chocolate way into the distant.
Milky Bar chocolate flavour. Not much else. Sweet as expected with a mild bitter completion.
Lowly carbonated cask feel. Moderate body.
Too sweet for me. It gives what it says on the tin.
