Pours a clear yellow with no head whatsoever. No lacing on the drink down. Smell is of malt, earth, dirt, honey, and herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with earth, honey, and cardboard flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an average beer that is very earthy and dirty all around.

A: Pours a clear medium yellow in color with light amounts of active visible carbonation streaming from the bottom of the glass slowly and some golden yellow highlights. The beer has a quarter finger tall thin sudsy white head that quickly reduces to a couple of medium sized very thin patches and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Light to moderate aromas of pale and slightly sweet malts along with moderate aromas of floral hops.

T: The taste of this beer is quite similar to the smell, it starts out with light to moderate flavors of slightly sweet pale malts with just a hint of light fruits (apple and pear). That is followed by moderate flavors of floral hops which impart a moderate amount of bitterness which fades pretty quickly.

M: Medium bodied with light amounts of carbonation. Slightly creamy with just a touch of dryness in the finish.

O: Not a bad example of an English IPA - very nice floral hop aromas and not too bitter. I could easily see myself sitting on a stool in England somewhere and enjoying this as a proper pint.

Modest head, but a thin layer of fine bubbles remains. It leaves a bit of spotty lace. The color is dirty gold with a touch of a chill haze.

Very pleasant blend of sweet, pale malts and a soft, floral hop smell.

Creamy pale malt up front--less sweet than the smell indicates. Good dollop of hop bitterness in the swallow. Black pepper aftertaste. Flat body with a creamy consistency. Very English in style.
