German-style refillable growler filled at the brewpub.
First pint glass pours with a frothy 1" bright white head, which lasted well for the style, over an opaque very light gold (maybe yellow) brew. Lacing was good and plentiful, with a cloves and wheat aroma, tinged with a bit of citrus. Taste is citrus and clove spicing upfront, mellowed by the entrance of the wheat character, and then closes with a touch of banana. Mouthfeel is very smooth, with tremendous drinkability. Made for the summertime, for sure.

A - this hefe arrivesa great pale yellow, darker yellow on top than on bottom, thin white head that is slow to lace
S - ultra lemony aroma, smelled it before it arrived, a rich hoppy kick that is new to me in a hefe, very enticing
T - sweet and lemony, but not an overpowering citric lemony, a very smooth sweetness, a candy sweetness from a rich banana flavor, the chalk board says it has clover flavors, can't discern that, but still damn good
M - so smooth, a great texture on the palate
D - high, next time im grabbing a growler of this, I definitely have a new favorite Hefe. if your in Ct or Western Mass go get his beer!

Draught @ Brewpub: This one pours a hazy straw color with a small white head. The aroma is quite nice, picking up some bananas and clove. There is also the typical wheat notes of aroma to this style. Also some lemon. The taste is quite good. Good wheat body with all of the flavors present in the aroma. Very easy to drink. My wife thought that it leaned a bit toward a Belgian Wit with the clove, But I really enjoyed this beer!

day glo semi-translucent yellow with quickly disappearing foam which leaves the most delicate layer of dead carbonation. a dead ringer for pineapple soda. aroma is sweet overall.. belgian light with sugar and light, christmasy spice. faint lemon and vanilla. overall light nose.
taste is smooth and perfect. banana, light luxurious malts and sweet breads. some citrus tartness which lingers and a rich coating mouthfeel for such a light body. balanced perfection. this is no weistephaner, but god damned close and much more drinkable. this should be the cambridge flagship, if its not already.

Another of the beers I sampled tonite at the opening. The beer is served chilled in a pint glass. The beer is a hazy gold color with about 1 cm of bleached white head that fades quickly to an edge layer. Aroma is rich and fruity with lemon, biscuity yeast, bananas and some cloves as well. First sip reveals a lite and refreshing body with fine tingly carbonation. Flavor is similar to nose with a fairly sweet tangy start with lemon and tangy yeast rolling to some bananas and finishing mostly cloves. The beer is clean crisp and refreshing. I would love to have a few of these out on the patio of the pub once it gets warmer, although after 3-4 might need a driver. The beer was also served without a lemon wedge which I enjoyed.
