Draught @ Brewpub: This one starts out a slightly hazy, coppery color. There was a bit of a tan head on it, and it leaves a bit of lacing down the sides of the mug. The nose is quite good. Some malts, with a big whiff of pumpkin pie spices. The taste is quite good. A decent malt bodywith lots of spices and a bit of peppery taste also. This beer is very well balanced, with none of the ingredients overpowering the others. Steve is excellent at finding these balances. Another fine brew!
Update 10-2014: The latest version of the beer has been tweeked a bit from before. The amount of the spices has gone down, while the pumpkin has gone up. This is evident in both the nose and the taste. The spices are much more subtle when drinking this now. It is still quite good, and I think I like it better than before!

Cloudy dark copper colored, with a low off-white head. Aromas of pumpkin, spice, and sweet malt, each in equal proportion. Flavor is initially malty, leaning toward caramelly, with a hint of pumpkin. The pumpkin tends toward sweet, but not overly so, and the usual accompanying spices are thankfully understated. This one is mainly pumpkin and biscuity malt. Reminds me of an oktoberfest with hints of pumpkin. Very well-balanced and even. Mouthfeel is just a little slick upfront, but finishes with a crisp tingle. Nice beer, I could have several of these.
