A nice clear deep gold with a small white head.
The smell is grainy malt and a bit of hop.
Taste is pretty sweet and mallty...honey... nutty...I agree with the previous review ; I would have guessed it was a maibock.
Medium bodied and medium carbonation.
Very drinkable brew. My girlfriend had a few of these...she loved it.
Another nice beer from Cambridge House.

On-tap 05.05.07 at the brewpub; served in a nonic.
Poured a clean auburn in color beneath a creamy, white head. Thin and ringed lacing is left, down the glass. Aromas of clean wheat and grains with a touch of honey and light molasses. The flavors follow the aromatics with a semi-sweet caramel and molasses that give way to noble hops and grains. The finish is airy with a spot of sweetness giving a sugar-coated, malted wheat aftertaste. This is more reminiscent of a spring Maibock than an altbier; but nonetheless, is pleasant in all aspects, and at 7.2% abv is very smooth and drinkable.

Draught @ Cambridge House: This one pours an almost clear orangish amber color. There was a small off white head that left some lacing. The aroma was a touch milder than I expected. There was some malt sweetness, as well a a touch of a sour fruitiness. The taste is incredible smooth and well balanced. There is a malt and hop presence, but they blend well for an excellent flavor There is also a hint of sour fruitiness to the beer, and also a hint of spice. Very Nice!
