Draught @ Brewpub: This one pours an orange-tinged amber color. It was slightly hazy. There was almost no head on mine, yet it left a little lacing. The aroma is nice: some caramel malt, lighter fruits, and some citrus (mainly lemon). This one has a good medium body. It is well balanced, slightly sweet, with a hint of spice. Very smooth. I hope this one makes it back next year!

Very nice caramely/tea color with a minimal head in a pint glass
Smelled of some interesting malts and alcohol, not much hops to be noticed.
Taste was impressive for a beer of this ABV. Pleasant malts and the alcohol adds some tang as well.
Very substantial mouthfeel, I'm sure the alcohol is helping here. Definately something to chew on.
I found the flavors to be getting tiresome near the end of the pint. Definitely a beer to try, but not really one of my favorite styles. Without my beloved hops this beer was feeling boozy and boring near the bottom of the glass. Still, well worth the try.

Light amber iced tea colored with a thin off-white head. Low aroma of biscuity malt and just a hint of alcohol.
Flavor of biscuity malt with notes of caramel and marshmallow, low hop profile, some spiciness in the finish. Definitely some boozy flavors mixing in, but mostly they add warmth and don't detract.
Even and full mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. Pretty drinkable for a big beer, but savor it, not a session beer.
