Draught @ Granby: This one pours an opaque dark brown color. There was a fairly decent tan head on it that lingered and left a fair amount of lacing. Nice aroma. Roasted malts and some coffee are most prevalent. Also some notes of chocolate and pumpkin pie spices. The taste is also very good. Medium bodied. Notes of roastiness, coffee, chocolate, and hints of pumpkin and pumpkin pie spices. No real sweetness to it, with a dry finish. Very Nice!

poured from a tap via a pumpkin - pretty cool

A - Pumpkin Porter arrives foggy london dark with a thin tan head rimming the glass

S - seasonal spices, a la allspice and pumpkin are the biggest notes, roasted malts nd a rich earthiness support them in a great aroma

T - the support notes in the aroma take on a bigger role in the taste, but not bigger than the pumpkin and spices, the four elements blend and layer quite well into a superb autumn flavor

M&D - smooth and highly drinkable, it is a complex and layered flavor throughout the whole taste, medium bodied, this is a quality porter

Poured from a tap into a pumpkin(which was also tapped) into my pint glass. Very cool idea. Props to Steve the brewer.

A - Very dark body, almost looked like a stout. Nice tan head.

S - Big chocolate aroma up front. Allspice, pumpkin, and other spices in the background.

T - Heavy on the chocolate and coffee at first. The pumpkin did come out more as the beer warmed up. The brewer put 150 pounds of local pumpkin in this batch - very cool.

M - Well balanced. I would have liked the pumpkin to stick out a little more on this one.

D - I believe this one was around 5-6 percent ABV. Very drinkable pumpkin porter with quality local ingredients. Love to see this in a beer. I plan on ordering a bunch more of these if they are still around next time I am back.
