On tap at the brewpub.
Comes to the table a lightly hazy gold color with a small white head that leaves great lace. Aromas of peppery spice with a light tart citrus and just enough sweet sugary malt to provide some balance. The favor is light and crisp with a honey sugary malt backbone that is countered with more pepper clove and light tart citrus. Light body with a spirited level of carbonation and a slick mouthfeel. Nice saison, I really enjoyed this one.

A - this pint arrives a ruddy red, with a thin ring of white froth, there is a lack of visible carbonation
S - big roasted malts, earthy/sassafrass/root beer notes, anise, and dark sweets caramel and toffee
T - the taste mirrors the bouquet, big malts, caramel, and toffee, a slight spice background, very tasty
M&D - a superb brew, overall tasty and well blended, smooth and easy down, CBH upholds their reputation

Draught in Granby: This one pours a dark, coppery brown color. There was a small tan head that leaves a bit of lacing. The aroma is nice. It is somewhat peppery and spicy. Subdued malts in the background. The taste is also quite good. Lots of malts in this one: almost a full bodied brew. The taste is a bit peppery and spicy. Some subdued fruits. There is no sweetness to it. Just a bit bitter with a dry finish. Very nice.
