Draught in Granby: This one pours a hazy brown color, with a small tan head. There is a some lacing. It has a nice aroma. Some coffee, roasted malts are upfront with some nuttiness in the background. Some chocolate and faint caramel malts also. The taste is good. Roastiness and nuttiness are balanced nicely with just enough hops. Good malt backbone. Just a bit bitter in the finish. Nice!

Chestnut colored with ruby highlights, low head of oatmeal colored foam. Aroma of dark toasted malt and cocoa.
Flavors of dark malt and cocoa, some leather and smoke, root beer and chestnut. Faint marshmallow, hints of espresso, surprising depth of roastiness.
Moderate mouthfeel, slight tingle, finishes a bit puckery. Tasty beer, very drinkable.
