according to menu board - 8.4%ABV and 100IBU's
A - this DIPA has a dark straw/hazelnut color and a thick slightly off white head
S - HOPtain America is super hoppy (see what I did there) tastes like a huge DIPA with the bitter top mellowed, a sweet pine and ripe citrus quality
T - surprisingly, hops is the second wallop, a balancing sweetness catches me off guard and makes for a well-balanced beer
M&D - as mentioned, a supremely balanced DIPA, warm and inviting, CBH lives up to their reputation

See also my review of the Big Dipper DIPA. I am a CBH fan, but this beer tastes virtually the same as the Big Dipper DIPA which had a bready, yeasty taste that overshadowed the flavor. Is there some sort of house yeast that is being used here that is giving off these flavors reminiscent of a Belgian yeast strain? Although it finishes with a fairly firm bitterness, the hop flavors are muted, not fresh or tasty and there is a funky and rubbery finish.

Draught in Granby: This one pours a cloudy, orangish color. There was about an inch of an off-white head. There is a nice nose to this beer. Lots of hops. Mainly pine on top, with some citrus notes. Some faint sweet malts in there also. The taste is very good. Surprisingly this isn't too overly bitter. Well balanced with lots of malts. Citrus, caramel and biscuity flavors. Very good!
