Draught @ Brewpub: This one pours a ruby tinged, very dark brown color. It still manages to be clear. Almost no head at all, and just a faint amount of lacing. Very nice nose. Chocolate, roasty with some caramel. Surprisingly no real sweetness with all those malts. The taste is also very good. Just a bit over a medium body, and very smooth. Just a bit of a hop bite to it, countering all those malts. Get flavors of chocolate, caramel, roastiness and dark fruits. An excellent winter beer!
