Draught in Granby: This one pours a clear, dark caramel color. There was a small, tight off-white head that left some lacing. It has a lighter but nice aroma. Caramel, biscuit and toffee notes are the most prevalent. The beer is medium to light bodied. The taste is very good. Toffee, biscuit, hint of roastiness, chocolate, coffee and a hint of nuttiness. Some earthy hops also. Very drinkable.
Re-rate 9/22/12: New batch on tap. This time it was somewhat different, as it was brewed in conjunction with homebrew contest winner Dana Borque. The aroma is a touch lighter, but more of a coffee presence to it. The taste also has more of a coffee presence to it. The coffee is a bit to forward now. Still good, but not as good.
