Pours a clear yellow, with a frothy white had that sticks around for a while. Leaves a lot of lacing left behind.
Smell has notes of wheat, straw, lemon, slightly skunky.
Taste is fairly one dimensional, grassy notes with the hops, then follows the nose for the finish. Hops leave a bit of bitterness for the aftertaste.
Light bodied, crisp, pretty drinkable.

Poured from a 22oz bottle into a mug glass.
A: The beer is a light yellow color, with a thin white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma is faint but contains grain, light caramelized malts and a faint touch of hops.
T: The taste starts out bready with the flavor of grain and hearty but not heavy malt character, which transitions into a mild malt sweetness. The hops presence is mild but complementary and brings some balance. The after-taste is slightly bready and slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and a little smooth, light-to-medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.
O: A little tasty, goes down ok, not too filling, mild kick, decent representation of style, there are certainly several other beers in the style that I would choose first.

22 ounce bomber poured into a pint glass. Pours cloudy hazy pale yellow. Thick heavy white foam. Over an inch before settling. Citrussy nose, and floral. Taste is a clean crisp soft fruity malt, with a slight peppery buzz. Good firm flavor, very full. A bitter holds beyond.
I really liked this, more than others on the site so far. Admittedly, this wasn't the best Kolsch example I've had, but the beer itself tasted really nice.

On tap at the brewpub.
Comes to the table a lightly hazy gold with a smallish white head that persists. Nice sweet bready pilsner malt nose with a hint of honey and floral spicy hops. The flavor is a touch on the sweet side with an almost under attenuated quality to it. Sweet honey caramel and pilsner malt with a touch of spicy hop and a hint of diacytyl. Light to medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet bubbly mouthfeel. Its a touch sweet, but I could get behind a few of these.
