This golden ale’s altruistic approach will restore you. Light-bodied and full of fruity flavors, it goes down smooth and has an amazingly clean profile.

Taster flight at Monkless. Bright golden pour, ring of white head, light lacing. Sweet yeasty aroma, fruity. Taste is Belgian yeast up front, sweet malts, apples, apricots. Nice tang at the finish.

L - look is pretty dark tangerine
S - Smell is not potent enough to detect much, you do get a bit of floral aroma.
T - Taste is very subtle, citrus forward.
F - Feel is very carbonated, and watery.
O - Overall ok Belgian strong, that said I would not choose it again.

A touch cloudy, medium amber appearance. Sweet spiced, coriander like and fruity hop aroma and an off-dry, caramelized, medium light toasted barley malt note. Moderate, crisp, herbal and somewhat floral hop character, and a fruity, malt flavor, for the taste.

It's hard to say no when this is on tap at my local watering hole. Consistent quality from a relatively small brewery. Goes down very smooth with clean profile. I find NW IPAs a little too hop forward for my taste, so this is right up my alley. Very refreshing (especially during hot summer months). Have not seen this in available in cans locally, so I"m happy to see it on tap around town and at their tasting room.
