my second a row from a brewery im now pretty darn stoked on, a real solid pils here, light and easy going, flavorful and fresh, not hopped to oblivion as is on trend right now, but still i think more than what is conventional in european types, this is more modern in that regard, even if it still reads like noble hops, its the dosing that makes it current, but not really bitter or anything, super crushable beer and again with cool art and beautiful in the glass, clear flaxen toned with over an inch of lasting wispy white head, quite professionally done overall, the quality is dialed in. the nose and taste are similar, with a lighter than expected malt base, pils malt for sure maybe nothing else, a little rustic character to it, fresh and not dusty or anything, but pretty full spectrum for how light it is, earthy and cereal-esque, good minerality also apparent, and this is dry overall. the hops have soft white tea florals and verdant grassiness, restrained bitterness, and just a hint of like lime pith or something a little more botanical, pretty consistent through the whole drink from start to finish and as it warms up a bit. carbonation make it move a little faster than the flavor kind of do naturally. i really like the yeast on this, sort of doughy in the nose but cleaner and more classically european in the flavor, a slight wet concrete thing to me, salted cracker, good snap but a slightly bready recall. very well executed beer, patiently lagered for sure, well hopped but not overdone, nicely styled, could drink this all day long. put these guys on the map!
