Like a great Aussie-summer iced treat, this is refreshing, tart and delightful. Plus, you don't need to rip open a tetra-pak to enjoy it. Featuring Australian grown specialty wheat malt, pineapple and lime juice extracts, it is soured during the brewing process to create a lovely and vibrant sour treat.

Gifted for my birthday in August 2022. Drunk in June 2023.
L: Dark, golden yellow, with a thick, frothy, centimetre-high head. Lacing left on the glass on the way down. Lots of slow-moving, medium-sized bubbles are seen in the glass.
S: Very artificial smelling, plasticy lemon and lime, almost like dishwashing detergent. Not at all appealing.
T: Exactly as expected after the nose. There's an almost perfumey quality to the lemon and lime, and the artificial impression from the nose is reinforced in the mouth. Puckering sourness is as expected from a can labelled as super sour. This will be a chore to get through.
M: The puckering quality means the beer is swallowed as quickly as possible once it gets in the mouth. Eye-watering sourness leaves a grimace on the face after each swallow. Carbonation for all that is thankfully mild.
O: This is a gimmicky beer and not one that deserves a full can, let alone a second purchase. Unfortunately, I have a four-pack to get through!
Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
