Birthday beer from August 2022. Drunk in July 2023.
L: Dark, golden yellow, with a frothy, sherbet-looking white cap. No carbonation can be seen in the glass.
S: Raspberry creaminess, tangy, lactic acidity.
T: Extremely tart, lemon, lime and raspberry. Leaves me puckered and shaking my head like a wet dog. My mouth is watering after each swallow. This is not enjoyable.
F: Mouthfeel is quite creamy but it's hard to tell because the tartness demands an immediate swallow once the beer is in the mouth.
O: Extreme sour beers must have an audience because breweries keep making them and people keep buying them. They might appeal to the younger set that's grown up with sour lollies and not yet developed a palate for bitterness, but other than that I can't see the point.
Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
