Roast malt aroma with coffee like qualities. Big, somewhat creamy brownish hued head. Color is black, although garnet color can be seen on edges in good light. Initial smooth pleasant malt taste that explodes in the middle and finish with roasted flavor and strong, yet appropiate dryness and hop bitterness. Contains hard water qualities in the flavor. Long dry finish leaves a good memory. Mouthfeel is medium to heavy, but not too chewy. A reasonably priced enjoyable stout.
